Anyone with a half a brain sold their King net to some sucker that wants to go to Sitka in the spring.

I bet it won't be too long before you wish you hadn't sold that net.

Low king and sockeye returns for Stikine means no area 8 fishing for our guys but the Canadians will have another monopoly on the Stikine. Canadians are responsible for the decline in numbers on the Stikine but nothing is ever done. Try to hold your temper when delivering half a brailer in Wrangell or Petersburg and right behind you are 3 Canadian scows with 4-5000# each of reds or kings. Makes me see blood red!!!!

If the trollers don't quit bitching about allocation, I'm going to deploy my king net in the gulf of Alaska during July!

Exact same scenario in Juneau / Taku.

Hey
Just be fucking grateful that Jev Shelton revived the Erling Strand memorial chinook drift fishery

If else were Alaskan rivers there'd be little or no Canadians fishing where you are now
